BSA is a wholly owned Ghanaian Investment Advisory and Fund Management Company authorized by the SEC to manage investment portfolios in Ghana. Black Star Advisors was founded by a team of investment bankers from Wall Street’s premier investment banks (including JP Morgan and Solomon Smith Barney) and consultants from the preeminent consulting firms (including McKinsey & Co. and The Boston Consulting Group).
The founding members have a singular aim – to apply their 20+ years of global experience to the unique needs, circumstances and macro- economic/political effects of transactions and privatizations in markets within West Africa. BSA’s management have over 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, private equity, management consulting and advisory work across Africa and North America. With a team that has previously worked in small business consulting, auditing and private equity investing among others, BSA is well-equipped to deliver a one-stop financing need for the Ghanaian Christian community.
